INTRODUCTION
What is RASA?
RASA is an Indian gin cocktail brand that utilizes Indian gin and complementary flavours to produce a selection of unique cocktails. A distinctive classification of gin, Indian gin, which is mainly produced in India, stands out through its use of regionally obtained Indian spices and botanical herbs, thus introducing a unique variation to the conventional gin profile through components such as Himalayan juniper berries, Darjeeling green tea leaves, and Gondhoraj lebu (lemon) peels.
Perfect for every type of event, Rasa establishes itself as a unique cocktail brand, which distinguishes itself with its exceptional tastes and distinct botanical flavour profile.

LOGO
The RASA logo uses a curvy sans-serif typeface to create its logo or wordmark. The logo has a very flowy appearance because of its curvy design, and the text is presented in title case. Each letter connects to the next in a smooth and natural way, creating a seamless flow from one to the next. The logo’s fluid design reflects the brand and its product, which are both characterized by a sense of smooth luxury.

Rasa.
RASA was developed as a semester-long branding project in my Branding course. Over the term, I created the complete visual identity system, including the logo, packaging design, brand applications, and a comprehensive brand guidelines book.
The concept positions Indian gin within a distinct space of its own. Unlike traditional Western gins, Indian gin incorporates regional botanicals and spices, introducing layered, aromatic profiles to the contemporary cocktail market. The brand identity draws from Indian visual language, patterns, ornamentation, and colour palettes while maintaining a clean, modern structure suited to Western retail environments.
The result is a culturally grounded yet globally relevant brand system.

BRAND GUIDELINES BOOK
After developing the branding and packaging design, the next step was to ensure the brand could be applied consistently across different contexts.
To achieve this, I created a comprehensive brand guidelines book. This enables other designers to work with the brand while clearly outlining the key design elements, visual standards, and details that must be maintained to preserve its identity.
